Can you believe that there are hundreds of support groups in the State of Maine? The 2-1-1 list ranges from support groups for chronic diseases and mental health concerns to groups for persons who have survived traumatic events. A few of the other support groups include: Bereavement support, Smoking Cessation, Weight loss, Parenting, Food allergies, Addictions and Terminal diseases.
If you or someone you know needs Mental Health Services or resources to assist with Substance Abuse treatment and recovery, please call 2-1-1 because we have more than a thousand resources to help in our database.
2-1-1 is a telephone number available in Maine statewide 24/7/365. It is answered by real people who can help you in locating a variety of resources closest to your location and calling 2-1-1 is confidential. - Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment Services: Contains all alcohol and other drug abuse treatment agencies licensed in the State of Maine who also hold a mental health license.
- Driver Education and Evaluation Program Providers: Contains all agencies/individuals qualified to provide DEEP assessment and treatment services.
- Prevention Services: Contains prevention programs holding a contract with the Office of Substance Abuse.
- Treatment Services: Contains all alcohol and other drug abuse treatment agencies licensed in the State of Maine.
